Over the years I have always told people that I would upgrade their Vectrex multi-carts for a nominal fee if I ever added games to the lineup. When drastic hardware changes were made and it really wasn’t practical to upgrade a cartridge anymore, I still offered people some sort of concession if they wanted to upgrade to the new version. Here again, the changes between this multi-cart and the last revision are so drastic, a simple “upgrade” isn’t possible but, just as I have in the past, I wanted to give people an upgrade option. I especially thought that people who bought one from me within the past year should have consideration.
Here’s what I came up with:
If you bought your Vectrex multi-cart
from me within the
last six months, send me back your old cartridge and I will give you $35 credit towards a new one.
If you bought your Vectrex multi-cart
from me between six
months and one year ago, send me back your old cartridge and I will
give you $25 credit towards a new
one.
If you bought your Vectrex multi-cart
from me over one year
ago, send me back your old cartridge and I will give you $20
credit towards a new one.
The
cost of the new v3.0 Vectrex multi-cart is $60
here on my webpage ($65 if you buy
it from me on eBay) so if you’re sending me your old cartridge, please
either include
CASH inside the package (preferred method) OR PayPal me the balance.
